Well they first met hmmm when. i beleive in the 3rd season. Anya is a ex vengence demon and Xander is well Xnader.
they began to date one thing lead and they were a couple, living toghether.
they were soon engaged but then Xadner's future self or whatever that was came and told him that his life wouldnt be al lthat so they should break the wedding off.
so its broken off and they go their separte way.
who knoes where they will lead.
