Authors Notes: Its good to be back and on fire. I had like major writers block, and I took a break from fic writing, so its good to be back.

She got up. She thought she had heard tapping on her window. The last time she had heard tapping on her window was when Angel...it hurt to think of him. She flicked on her light. It stung her eyes, as she stumbled towards the window. A dark figure haunted the window opening. She couldnt see who it was. "Angel." She whispered. He stepped into her room, and the light revealed his troubled face.

Her knees became weak. She began to tremble. "Youre shaking like a leaf." He whispered, not even knowing the irony of his words. She closed her eyes. This was so surreal. She just needed to be soaking wet, and she would be reliving her first time with Angel.

"Good observation." She countered. Angel gulped. She was still a little bitter. But damn she loved him more than she could say in words. "What do you want?" He stepped forward a little.

She was stronger than she gave herself credit. He knew that. He always had. She glared at him with her perfect eyes, and beautiful face, and for a split moment, he could have melted. "I made a mistake." She slightly laughed.

"Which mistake are you talking about? Leaving me, choosing her?" He winced. She pulled back a lock of hair, and sat on her bed. It was late.

Hush now I see a light in the sky

"Give me a chance. I am not the only one to blame for everything that went wrong with us." Buffy winced. He was right. She had been so pig headed sometimes. More than she would like to admit.

"Sorry." She whispered.

"I know." He touched her cheek. "I wanted to say that I loved you and that I dont want you to move on." She felt electric. Like she was moving so very fast. What was this feeling invading her chest. Happiness.

"What are you thinking Buffy?" She smiled slightly. She could feel dizzy warmth flowing up her arms.

"That it took you long enough. That I have waited so long for you." A tear ran down her cheek. His eyes glowed with happiness. No more lies. No more pretending.

And even though it was dark outside, she could feel the sun coming up. Even though Angel wasnt human she could feel his heartbeat. And for once in her life, she swore she had a perfect moment. Unadulterated joy.

He cried. For the first time in a long time, he cried.

"I love you too." She said as she wiped his tears away, and kissed his fingertips.

"Forever?" She whispered.

"Forever." He repeated, and then he hugged her.
